In the name of God Amen, the 28th day of November in the year of our Lord 1680. I Harry Mansell of the town of Kidwelly in the County of Carmarthen Alderman being sick in body but of good and perfect memory God be praised do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following, That is to say, first I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God my maker and Redeemer, hoping assuredly through the only mercy of Jesus Christ my Saviour to be made ..... of Everlasting life and commend my body to be buried in Christian burial at the discretion of my Executor hereafter nominated.

Item I give towards the Cathedral Church of St. Davids ....... .
Item I give and bequeath to the poor of Kidwelly two shillings.
Item I give and bequeath and between my son Walter Mansell and Charles Mansell   my son one pair of the best oxen.
Item I give and bequeath to my son John one ox and one cow.
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann Mansell ..... young cows the one .....   and the other ..... .
Item I give and bequeath to the said Ann one great hog ........ .
Item I give and bequeath to my son Charles one great hog red spotted.
Item I give and bequeath between Walter and John one hog apiece.
Item I give and bequeath to the said Ann ten sheep out of the store.
Item I give to the said Ann one ..... .
Item I give and bequeath all the oats the remainder after sowing equally to be   divided   between my said children.
Item I give and bequeath all the barley that will remain after sowing to be equally   divided between my said children.
Item I give and bequeath to my son Charles one cow.
Item I give and bequeath to my son Walter one cow.
Item I give and bequeath to my son David Mansell all my household stuff and the   rest of my goods and I nominate and appoint the said David Mansell to be my   sole Executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have   hereunto put my hand seal this day and year above written.
